The Story
The first time I saw this image I didn't think of a nebula. I thought of Pollock. Not as a metaphor — literally. The way the young stars explode outward from the dense core, trailing filaments of ionized gas across 340 light-years, follows the same visual logic as the drip paintings: controlled chaos, centrifugal energy, a composition that has no center and yet holds. In Number 31 the eye never stops; here it never stops either. The Tarantola Nebula is the most active star-forming region in the Local Group. James Webb photographed it in near-infrared in 2022, revealing tens of thousands of young stars that were previously hidden inside the dust. What you see in this print is not a finished object — it is a process, caught mid-gesture. That is what makes it worth putting on a wall.

Packaging and what to do on arrival
Fine Art Prints are rolled and shipped in a reinforced acid-free rigid tube with sealed cap. Open the parcel within 48 hours of delivery and check integrity. Handle the print only at the edges, with clean hands.
If damaged in transit: send 3–4 photos to support@sideris.art within 72 hours — free replacement, no return needed.
Print vs Dibond — what's the difference?
Fine Art Print on Hahnemühle Baryta is the gallery-classic option: warm, tactile, framed with glass and acid-free mat. Best for traditional and editorial interiors.
Aluminium Dibond is a 3 mm composite panel with direct HD print, ready to hang with no frame. Best for contemporary, statement-wall interiors with high colour saturation.
How to frame and hang the print
For best results, use:
- An acid-free mat (2–4 mm thick, 5–8 cm margin around the print)
- Anti-reflective or museum glass (filters UV, extends colour life)
- Wood or aluminium frame, internally sized to print + mat
