Refund and Return Policies
14-day right of withdrawal (EU law)
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Italian consumer law (D.Lgs. 206/2005), you have the right to cancel your order and return your purchase within 14 days of delivery, without providing any reason.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
- Contact us at support@sideris.art within 14 days of receiving your order
- Include your order number and the item(s) you wish to return
- We will confirm the return by email and provide return instructions
Return conditions
- The print must be returned in its original packaging, in the same condition as received
- Return shipping is at your expense — we recommend a tracked service
- We are not responsible for prints lost or damaged during return transit
Refund
Once we receive the returned print and verify its condition, we will issue a full refund of the product price within 14 days. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
The following are not refunded:
- The original shipping cost
- Customs duties or local import taxes paid by the buyer on delivery (these are collected by your government, not by Sideris Art, and are not refundable by us)
Note on value reduction
If a print is returned in a condition showing handling beyond what is necessary to assess its nature and characteristics — for example, if it has been unrolled, exposed to humidity, or marked — we reserve the right to deduct a proportional amount from the refund corresponding to the reduction in value. We will inform you of any such deduction before processing the refund.
Damaged prints — free replacement
If your print arrives damaged in transit, you are entitled to a free replacement at no cost to you. WhiteWall covers 100% of the replacement production and re-shipping cost.
To request a replacement:
- Open the parcel within 48 hours of delivery
- Photograph the damaged packaging (inside and outside) and the print — 3 to 4 photos minimum
- Email the photos to support@sideris.art within 72 hours of delivery, with your order number
- No return of the damaged print is required
Replacement production follows the same timeline as a standard order (typically 24 hours production + delivery time by destination).
Production defects
If a defect in printing quality (colour banding, surface damage, incorrect sizing) becomes apparent within 30 days of delivery, we will replace the print free of charge. Send photos to support@sideris.art with your order number and a description of the defect. Beyond 30 days, cases are evaluated individually.
Non-EU orders — important note on duties
If you are returning an order placed from outside the European Union, please be aware that customs duties and local import taxes you paid upon delivery are generally not refundable by the local tax authorities. Sideris Art has no ability to recover or refund these amounts on your behalf. This applies to UK VAT, US import duties, Swiss VAT, and any other charges collected at the border.
